The priveleges of WAMEDA membership are many and beneficial to the growth and development of regional dancers and afficionados of Middle Eastern and North African traditional dances and their cultures, as well as American bellydance in all of its cultural fusions.
The Annual Showcase, this year, is commemorating 30 years of dancing with WAMEDA, Inc. as we perform in the lovely John Addision Concert Hall, at the Harmony Hall Regional Center in Fort Washington, Maryland. This serene, cool and comfy theatrical environment is a very welcome change for an elevated dance experience, enhancing the experience for the performers as well as the audience.
We look to share this air-conditioned, oasis and retreat into other lands and cultures as we present the various faces and paces of bellydance.
