My 7th burn traveling various routes from Seattle, i know most routes and water
stops …no need to haul kilos of water over those mountain passes!
My flight from Rochester to Seattle arrives late Wednesday. I can depart
Sammamish as early as August 22, Friday, afternoon, and can depart Black Rock
City Monday or Tuesday after the burns. In previous years i had early arrival,
but this year i hadn't plans to seek it. Have you a fuel-efficient car? I like
adventure and don't mind scenic detours. A friend in Portland just opened a
gallery in the Everett Station Lofts, and i'd like to stop en route. I'd even
like to visit places in the Oregon high country just a mile or so off-route:

I need to shlep minimal gear, food, water, and a bicycle. I don't smoke and am
flexible about music. I'm an excellent driver and even better a navigator. As
customary i can share transportation expenses and driving duty.
