if we have a choice between a huge stack of money or the entire of planet earth... how shall we choose? if there is one thing this film truly offers it is the opportunity to reestablish all of our real choices... live or die? Consciously or unconsciously... how much more simple does it have to be. We can and do make a choice every time we buy, drive, fly, etc etc... we as drops in the bucket are all able to have an impact so that the reality we live in and our future generations look back at can be as beautiful and fulfilling as we and envision... we just have to change our view and truly support the change we wish to be.. fantastic film. what else could be of such importance? surley not another coffee at starbucks? - Jayanti , posted 01/11/07 |

This is the most important film I have ever seen. It is IMPERATIVE not only that you see it, but that you convince everyone you come in contact with the urgency of doing whatever they can to deal with the "inconvenient truths" of its subject matter. what is your moral imperative? see this movie and make a change today. mother nature may see us as another carbon layer soon but sustaining our life here is beyond the point of crisis enact the top 10 list and think up more stuff to do. do it now - atlasphere , posted 06/13/06 |

Pleeeease go see this film documentary Today! What I loved about it is even though what's happening to the planet is serious in this subject of global warming, the film documentary ends with simple and easy solutions to the problem. Global warming happens when carbon dioxide builds up in the atmoshpere and traps sun light in, warming the climate. The effects of unnatural climate shift result in the hurricanes, tornados, floods, heat waves, and so on. The US is the #1 contributor of carbon dioxide to the environment. We have about less than 10 years left to reverse our destructive habits and move toward a harmonious relationship with the Earth. If we don't, we won't be here. This documentary is inspiring and clear, moving and intelligent; it is a call-to-action, and very hopeful for the future. Al Gore comes across as natural leader and a man who is passionate about creating balance on planet earth. Watching him speak, I found it hard to even comprehend how a man like George Bush is president. SEE IT ! hi friends and fam just got home from the theatre where i saw "AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH", a new documentary starring Al Gore on global warming. it is basically a profoundly disturbing, factual slide show - that he has done thousands of times all over the world. something he has been aware of and talking about since the 1970's. i am not stunned - i knew these facts before. and mostly i am just stunned by how complacent we generally are. It is important that everyone see this film, especially in the next 2 weeks, so that it can continue to run. and the film gives us all instructions on how to reduce carbon levels, individually.....and as the film shows, if we dont, we are headed for a huge EPIC disaster.....pretty fucking soon.....excuse the language. but it is really time for us to WAKE UP. and that is really what the film is about. so if my use of the f word does it, so be it. wake up - go see the film! go to www.climatecrisis.net for more information on what you can do to help save our planet, which is in BIG trouble. Pay close attention to the closing credits of this film as they are instructions as to how we as individuals can make a difference. what is obvious in this story - is that americans are the worst offenders (ITS A FACT!) and the consequences of our complacency are here....every tornado - every hurricane - and soon, more - because both greenland and antarctica (whether we are noticing or not) ARE MELTING as we sit in front of our tv's and watch the war in iraq. so PLEASE - see the movie - tell everyone you know to see it - go to the website. if you dont think it is important for you....just look at the tiniest child you know. it is their planet, and they have to live here after we ruin it.
