I am usually reluctant to buy dance DVDs because alot of the time you really don't know what you're getting. But after K-Lee raved about how great this DVD was, i couldnt pass it up! And you shouldnt either! Sahira goes over a few combos at a time and slowly pieces them together with transitions, until you have a full length choreography to some kick-ass music!! Arabian Spices, the premier instructional video brought to you by Sahira of Urban Gypsy, is easy to follow and understand. The combos are fabulous, bearing influence from some of the greats of ATS and tribal fusion, Fat Chance Belly Dance, Urban Tribal Dance Company, Domba, Gypsy Caravan, Rachel Brice and Urban Gypsy themselves. Follow along with Sahira as she teaches you unique combos and at the end of this 80 minute DVD, blend what you have learned into a mesmerizing choreography. And if that isnt enough, stick around for the happy ending where Urban Gypsy delights you with a performance of the choreography. This DVD is affordable and one of my favorites.
