Dont F#@* w/ the king This movie was great, or maybe its just that little bag of sand talking....... JFK and the King (w/a friend on his little friend) in one movie. Cant lose with that formula anyway you look at it.
must see for any Bruce Campbell fan! Bubba Ho-tep combines a brand of horror/comedy romp that anyone who's seen the Evil Dead series will recognized. This tale is better developed and less horror-oriented, and won't disappoint.
Bruce Campbell plays an aging Elvis, living out the rest of his years in a Texas rest home now that no one believes he's alive. His best friend is a black man who thinks he's JFK (or IS he?), and they have to work together to save the souls of a mummy which is killing the residents of their nursing home. It's a good tale of friendship and trust, and is hilarious!
Small, low budget, wonderfully acted, somewhat sad Bubba Ho Tep

"Bubba Ho-tep tells the ?true? story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis(Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his ?death?, then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack(Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds?"
