I had the good fortune of meeting Goh Nakamura as he was starting to finish up his first album, Daylight Savings, and hearing new songs as they unfolded. The album was key to breaking away from the poorly-written and saccharine-sweet fluff being created by the music industry today. He puts the singer-songwriter in "singer-songwriter". Like whoa. Amazing guitar player, fantastic voice, and a great writer. You can check out some of his tracks on his website, but this is a must-buy CD. - Gary , posted 02/26/05 |
