It's free, has two porta-potties, and it's no more that an hour and a half from LA. The dry lake is patrolled by a Ranger named 'Gina' and she (despite her bad taste in men) is a great Ranger. I can be *VERY* cold there, so check the weather often before you go there. - Rommel , posted 01/16/06 |
