Endless Forest
Very fond of this game as a source of relaxation. It features open ended gameplay, community and beautiful artistic elements.
You get to play as a stag (looking more the lines of a Princess Mononoke type stag than the actual animal) prancing around in this surreal and spectacular forest. There are several areas to visit, and scores of other stag running about. The creators of the game surface as gods to oversee events and interact with the players on occasion, and there are plenty of magics you can cast on one another to change appearances of antlers, face mask and coat colors.
What really intrigues me about this game however, is the social interaction. I think we've all played an MMO where someone broke the atmosphere by shouting, "PLZ SPARE GILZ FOR NOOBZ." The only way you can interact in this game is by bellowing type noises and body language. There are plenty of options to choose, and even a fun "dance" option which queues some playful music. You don't even have a english-letter name. A character's name is more of a symbol, vaguely resembling Japanese or Chinese characters.
My only complaint on this one is that it is VERY labor intensive for my poor video card. There are hundreds of trees, falling leaves, birds, frogs, changes in light, ripples on water...and dozens of other deer. It tends to run a little slow.
Definitely check it out, and that's my stag in the image (sporting a special coat color and mask). Hope to share a prance with you sometime.
