We have gotten three dogs from this rescue. Each was a problem in some way. One was not spayed and we had to return to get her another day (which was an unplanned and huge imposition). One was misrepresented as being good with children, it was not and was returned. The next one was misrepresented as a 3 year old and according to a reputable vet was actually 9 years old and had advanced liver disease. Six months later, and after almost $3,000 in vet bills she died. Needless to say we went to another rescue to replace our dog and are very happy with the service and honestly represented dog we received, incidentally at half the fee of Gentle Giants. I do not recommend Gentle Giants in any way. Steer clear and save both money and heartache. - John , posted 04/23/09 |
