Hey Peeps, Next year the rules are changing for donating a used car as a tax write off. If you donate your car THIS year (like in the next two weeks), you can write off the blue book value of the car even if it's a piece of crap that barely runs. Next year, however, you can only deduct the how ever much the non-profit organization that sold your car got for it. Happy Holidays! - OpenMike , posted 12/13/04 |
