InLine & Quad Skating
Whether you have or have yet to skate FreedomSkate.org Great-EsSkate.com the BigAppleRoll.org the Midnight Rollers' web.cora.org/friday.phtml the NorthShoreInLine.com Marathon, or any of the grand skate events, you have met those who share your spirit for skating: we live to skate, maybe skate to live. Here reconnect with those you miss.

Not just for browsing, nor for posting, which plenty of bulletin boards offer, Tribe.net is for finding people and connecting, not just locally, but nationally. More functional than Friendster, less hierarchal and segmented than YahooGroups, and with geographic searching, Tribe facilitates introductions and interactions where trust matters. Like Friendster and unlike YahooGroups, the friends you find and connect here no moderator may take from you.

You skate. Others skate. You don't know them and they don't know you, but across four degrees of separation, you know many in common. Discover them and let them discover you. Even if you know plenty who skate, help connect to each other yet others who skate.

The reality is all anyone needs to skate are pavement and skates. No one need join anything. But skating with others, even one other, turns skating from solitary exercise to social sport. In that process skating develops a voice. Maybe your family thinks skating is crazy, and all you need is someone to share your insanity. Maybe your regular path needs repair, but the responsible authority hardly knows you care. Here lend your voice to help others and ourselves, to help yourself.

Here help seed the evolution. - John , posted 08/14/04
