Now I know some of you are wondering what exactly is gay-camping? It's what happens when you take a bunch of queens and throw them in the woods. Next thing you know there are dances, blender parties and club music echoing through the forest. Where does one go gay-camping? Jones Pond of course! It's a great all male, clothing optional, gay campground in Angelica, NY(Genesee Valley). Gay owned and operated, for 15 years, the Pond offers a unique seasonal camping experience from May 1 to October 1. Your hosts, Steve and Doug, manage to keep things safe, sane and still loads of fun! There are seasonal sites where the guys have trailers with all the comforts of home (all tastefully decorated of course), RV's are also welcomed, you can rent cute little cabins and there's even full amenities for the boys with tents (love the boys with tents). What does one do while gay-camping? The list is almost endless... Nature trails provide fun hikes through some great scenery. The 65' heated in ground pool is the perfect place for sunning, swimming and socializing. There are different theme events every week and the seasonals host an afternoon party almost every weekend. On Friday and Saturday evening there's a dance in the rec hall from 10pm-1am (Too early to go to bed? There's always an after-fire to be found). Don't feel like making breakfast after a late night or even cooking in general?
