Justgiving (www.justgiving.com/usa) lets average joes like you or me create an individual and personalized fundraising page (kindof looks like an Evite) to raise money for any charity. I used for my wedding registry, my colleague used when he quit smoking and raised money for a cancer charity. Another friend used when he shaved off his long hair and raised moeny for cancer research. (He donated his hair too). It's a low-effort, free, and easy way to support any charity that you feel strongly about. Good for marathon runners or other events-type-sponsorships too.
