My little girl, who is an executive recruiter in midtown, clued me in to this service, which a lot of people in her business use to find job candidates. Others use it to find jobs, clients, and professionals, or to connect with people they went to school with, or used to work with. Unlike the purely social sites, they give you a chance to post your resume -- and solicit endorsements from former bosses, clients, employees, and so on. And unlike the job boards, they let you network. The link I am posting here goes to my own page, and gives an idea what they offer. I am rating the free service as good; the added value of paid membership might well boost it to excellent.
