One of the best breakup albums around
The debut album from the band The Mercy Kiss (formerly of Milwaukee, currently of LA) is an impressive start to a hopefully successful career for these guys. With a sound that's reminiscent of early 80s punk infused with some modern pop, they've got the musical chops to keep the CD in your changer for a good while. Pretty much every song on the album deals with breaking up, which makes for a thematically monotonous album -- unless you're going through a breakup. In that case, this is a CD that won't leave your player.
