 A bitter-sweet taste of the South and the un-spoken realm of the homosexual world. A fascinating insight into sex, money and class in "proper" society. With deep roots in the South, this movie illustrated a family motto of how much is said by what is not said. Ultimately, a decidedly Yankee look into Southern culture - given it is written from a New Yorker perspective. I enjoyed the movie as much as I enjoyed the book.
