One of LAs oldest art house cinemas
The Fox went out of business a long time ago and is now a 99 cent mall. But the Nuart Theater, purchased by Landmark Theaters ages ago, is still going strong. Though they don't do the double feature revival thing anymore it is still the best place to see art house movies.

They also have an eclectic selection of Friday midnight movies well worth checking out in addition to being the happy home of Rocky Horror for a million years. Lots of kids at Rocky though.

This was the theater that help put Pink Flamingos and Eraserhead on the map. Film maker in-person events are not uncommon. Cute staff! - onlinePink , posted 09/07/04
