Beats Firefox hands down
I've used Firefox at work a bunch, but have added Opera without letting my sysadmin know. All the functionality I want is available without downloading 20 different "extensions" which may not play nice with each other, the way I have to for Firefox. - Anthony , posted 01/06/06

RAh rah rah for Opera!
I love it, it's fast , it's very customizable, changes are instant, gmail does work on it, it has voice commands, and it's now free! Now for a good email client... - Josée , posted 12/13/05

Fast, But Crashes Often
Opera is fast and has many cool features (and shortcuts). However, it crashes so often that I've gone back to using Internet Explorer almost exclusively. - , posted 07/15/05

Opera is worth using and learning.
this is the easiest to use and quickest browser out there. For web dev it's even better. You can emulate other browsers on the fly. If it works on Opera, it will work on other browsers. I use this browser 90% of the time and firefox and explorer(only for hotmail). After you learn to use the mouse gestures to navigate it becomes very frustrating to use any other browser. They make money through ad revenue. You do not have to buy it but I think it's worth it to support independent developers. - JaeJin , posted 03/02/05

Why pay for a browser?
**Seriously** How do these people even make money?

Firefox is not only FREE but far superior, and if you want integration, try the Mozilla suite. It's fully customizable. In fact, anything from Mozilla owns any competetion, freeware or no. - Unsubscribed , posted 02/21/05

Rock solid Browser!!
The most versatile browser available!
Some say the inability to run activeX is it's only weakness but concerning that activeX is the most hackable part of Internet Explorer and that not many site uses that crap anyway, I think I can manage without it. - Unsubscribed , posted 01/12/05

Best navigation and features
Opera does so many great things like zoom entire page in and out at the press of a key, quick forward backward by right-click+left-click or visa versa, etc. etc. etc. You have got to try it. Although one should have both Mozilla and Opera, Opera is the one I use most. - paul , posted 01/04/05

I paid for it for 5 years but my education discount is redundant like I was. Now I still appreciate it but I won't pay for v.8. I miss my firefox plugins too much, the M2 email sucks it was my main client for a couple of years I can't remember why.

If you are a student or academic it's worth the money. - Rup3rt , posted 08/06/04

opera rocks the casbah (v. 7.53)
4MB of pure browsing satisfaction. Unfortunately, Gmail doesn't work on it, but I'm sure it will after Google buys it. - Jeff , posted 07/21/04
