I too had an awful experience with Planet Lulu in the latter half of last year. I ordered some clothes and didn't like them. I boxed up and returned all but one item. Since the items had not come with an itemized receipt, it was very difficult for me to see what I should be getting back as a refund. Additionally, my items came with a "sorry, some items out of stock" note though I also couldn't verify whether or not I had been charged for those. Though I have made many attempts to resolve these issues, I have never once received a reply and/or a refund. Although the idea is brilliant and many have had much success with Planet Lulu...I have had a bad experience. I ordered 4 pair of premium denim jeans in early July, just for them not be shipped until almost three weeks later. THEN, as if the late delivery was not bad enough, I open the box to find only 3 pair of jeans and a teensy eensy note stating that the third pair was no longer available (I guess not, if you waited three weeks to pull them for shipment) and my credit card would be immediately credited the difference. Well, here I am, at the end of September still waiting for my credit. I have emailed with not even a response of "We are looking into it"...no nothing. The best deals maybe anywhere. Shopped their loft sales for years and only recently relented and starting shopping online. Even more fun, shopping in my p.j.'s. The November 28 sale was great! Scored five pairs of jeans including a pair of Joes for under $300. (shipping was free). Really though, the Tiffany Alana top I can't wait to get. I love tube tops. I'm a LuLu'r for life. I tried to shop my first Planet Lulu sale last night. I loaded up my cart, then couldn't check out. What the hell? Then this morning I got an email saying there was a problem and they had free shipping till 5 today! I swooped in and scored some great stuff. I can't wait to see it! If you like designer clothes but can't afford to keep up with the trends. This by invitation only website provides access to gorgeous clothes. All you have to do is join the list and every so often they have a big sale and they e-mail you an invite and then you can go and buy really great stuff.
