I love listening to Radio 1 - I get lots of ideas on current music in many genres, it really expands my horizons, and it's free! You can find the tracklistings and there are a lot of different Djs with various music genres. After I've listened for awhile I'll often get inspired to go buy something on Amazon. Sometimes that's a PITA because new releases in the UK aren't always available immediately in the US... It makes me feel really nostalgic - I used to live in the UK and I was a regular listener. Stuff I want to buy after listening to Radio 1 last week include music by Aphex Twins, the new Prodigy album, and some new Bjork. I guess I'm in that mode. - Dread Pirate™ , posted 11/02/04 |
