Nice Quiet Soak
I took a couple of days off and stayed over during the middle of the week. It was slow and comfortable. The rates were very reasonable. Would have been much better if I had taken some company, but I had some pleasure reading to fill up the time. - Xot , posted 04/30/07

Sierra Hot Springs, Sierraville
Sister facility to Harbin Hot Springs, located about 30 minutes from the Tahoe/Truckee area. They have warm and hot pools of various temperatures, ranging from 85-108 F. Rooms and campsites are available, and breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style on weekends. Great place! - manzanita , posted 11/05/04
More "On the Way" than Near Burning Man
The sister retreat to Harbin Hot Springs, Sierra is much smaller, quieter, and more intimate. I've never been there, but I have several friends who have enjoyed the waters and simple facilities in all seasons, including on the way home from Burning Man. It's a bit North of Truckee, in California. Probably a good idea to call before showing up. - SparkyJim , posted 08/24/04
