I love the encrypted chat and the free VOIP service that you can use to call other people using it on their computer for free. The sound is the best I've ever heard, it sounds even better than a normal phone (more like radio quality sound than phone quality). You can also call from your computer to normal telephone numbers around the world, and it costs way less than using a normal phone. I use Skype almost every day and there are a few things regarding the interface that leaves some to be desired. I also have a problem with the way it saves IM's you send to people when they are offline (which you send because it doesn't always tell you right away when someone goes offline).
