second hand at best
I was in Turkey for the eclipse and passed on the festival owing to it's cost and the fact that i wanted to be other places as well (it was my honeymoon). But i ran into several people in Cappadocia afterwards who had been to the festival. They spoke fairly highly of it - noting all the problems mentioned before - but all were still filled with the glow of sharing this cosmic event with kindred spirits! I met Japanes, Australians & Brazilians who had been to the festival - but no Americans! - dexter , posted 04/20/06

excellent
yes it was very expensive and the collapse of the stage has been something i never seen before.. but after all it was so far for sure one of the best festivals i been to! all those special people from all over and sooo many known faces and friends i see and also many new i meet. The location was great but kind of a swamp after the rain.. one night i fell with Loopus into a big hole which we really didnt expect there. but it was made by someone.. toilets where pretty stinky after a while too but this is not the first festival with such problems..

it was my second eclipse gathering and it was sooo amazing but i never find words for expressing those feelings going on inside of you in such moment..

it was great experience and good opportunity to see Turkey again.
Chaikovsky had a really good set in the chill out the music in general was pretty good
but i did not see liese :(
too bad.. i hope we get another opportunity sometime soon! - Styx , posted 04/08/06

good pix nice setting
Heard about the eclipse from a Turkish friend (in Izmir) just after it. Nice to see what he was talking about. Love those mountains! (He likes biking through them.) The locale also reminds me of the Gathering which happens every New Year's near Nelson, New Zealand. Hills not quite so grand but the woods look similar. - Kaï , posted 04/06/06

Pictures from the solar eclipse gathering
It was totally amazing, nice surrounded by mountains in a beautiful valley. Nice decorated stages and more than 5000 colorful people there. During the 7 days party just about 16 hours of rain, making a very muddy ground and so we called it mudstock :)

The organization was not the best at all but in the end i think every one has it‘s fun there. I am just a bit disappointed about the prices on the festival, everything was really expensive.
