Buddhist Artistic Drama really spoke to me.
On Mother's Day I spent the evening sipping wine over a movie called "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.... and Spring."
This little Korean film, grand in it's aspirations, spoke to me of what Mother's Day is really about.... the great cycles of life. Including the painful choices any mother must make if she is to do her job well ... the decision to die, and to let her children go.
Here is a review that did the Korean film justice, I think: www.kfccinema.com/reviews/d...inter.html Pay no attention to the American reviewers of the "Sesame Street" generation who claim it was slow to start, or boring. Bah! No such thing!!
Available with English or French subtitles.
