I'm biased because I created it, but I don't know html. Technical things were never my speciality, my speciality was always creativity and I think that shines on the Below the Belt website. The mere fact that, to my knowledge, my website is the only place you can download mp3s of Paradox reading his Dreamspell poetry is more than enough to sell it to some of you! The website started as a way to promote my conscious Hip-Hop mp3s and my Hip-Hop and Drum n Bass nights. But the website has evolved as I have evolved. As I started putting on Cabarets instead of Hip-Hop nights, as poetry became my focus instead of Hip-Hop and as shamanism became my inspiration the website now promotes love, wisdom and creativity. The Deep Sheeyat page is a library of links to spiritual websites. Everything from the I-Ching and Taoism, to Orgone Generators and Etherium Gold, from Mayan History and sacred geometry to ley lines and the chakra system. The Creative Burst page houses an anthology of my poetry and my essays. It also has inspirational quotes from revolutionaries and genius' such as Aldous Huxley, William Blake and Shakespeare. There are still links to my conscious Hip-Hop, my collaboration with frequent Skinnyman collaborator MONGO, the aforementioned Paradox MP3s and Sparxillva (if you learn Sparxillva tunes now you can sing along when he rips it at the next Synergy Party.) So, I'm biased but if you like spirituality, shamanism, conscious Hip-Hop or random sillyness you'll love this website. - Kev the Poet , posted 01/05/06 |
