I loved this movie...and who has time to watch them anymore?
One of the most intelligent, well scripted movies I have seen in a long time, not to mention the cast kicks ass! Aaron Eckhart is damned sexy...makes me wish I was a little more eloquent in my speaking. - Cristi , posted 10/16/06

Getting to Know The Devil, Part 2
I used to tell friends that "The Devil's Advocate" was an archetype. To wit: if there is a demonic intelligence, Al Pacino's character captures him.

Now I would say that is merely a two-dimensional portrayal. Thank You for Smoking gives us a three-dimensional devil. Horrifying, fascinating, amusing and utterly seductive all at once.

I doubt there was a wasted word of dialogue in this movie. Flawlessly written. - Dances with Future , posted 04/25/06

This movie is brilliant. Brilliant satire. If you like satire, you'll love this. Funny thing is, by the end of the movie, you're actually rooting for a tobacco lobyist. You're fucking rooting for someone to actually convince others that smoking is not harmful. Brilliant. - , posted 04/07/06
