GLBT advocacy magazine is a good read
The Advocate, this week in particular, is a pretty good read. I read a pretty inspiring story about how Shaq, the basketball great chased down the perpetrator of a hate-crime. When straight men of high popularity will take action to correct what's been wrong - I'm inspired. In fact, that's also my personal situation - I'm a straight man who feels strongly that hate crimes need to be prosecuted more vigorously and that gay marriage should be honored as an American institution. The Advocate magazine makes me understand, stay aware and be sensitive to people who are different than me in some ways, but who mostly share the same interests and ambitions in life. - graham , posted 11/01/05
