I hit Union Square's Virgin and went straight to the center store listening stations (where the best stuff is always at) and plugged my head into The Double's "Loose In The Air"... Wow!!! I enjoyed every track at some level... Within the context of their own originality, I found traces of Godspeed You Black Emperor and Kasabian (two of my recent most favorites)... And oh yeah, they're based in NYC and are label mates with Cat Power on Matador (now that would be a nice show -> The Double opening for Cat Power in a NYC venue - I'd be there in a New York Minute!!!
