HIstory Detectives
Always something that can't be found elsewhere on TV. We need more of this sort of thing - Unsubscribed , posted 08/01/06

AA TV
The segment on this show was great. Itwas about a man, last name Wallace, who helped AA's co-founder, Bill Wilson, through some tough tomes.
AA was just starting out and Bill and his wife were basically couch surfing for a couple of years. This guy Wallace helped them out financially. Bill knew Mr.
Wallace from the Oxford Group. AA's 12 Steps are baseed on the Oxford Groups 6 precepts
What I didn't know is the Oxford Group was a non-denominational Christian group. So you could be any kind of Christian, as long as you were white and wealthy. Bill Wilson was thrown out of the Oxford Group for bringing AA "riff-raff" to their meetings. . - Ron , posted 08/01/06
