Ok so I'm only giving them a 2. Why? Because they are one of the hundreds of Bay area quick chinese takeouts, and not a "Dining" place and 3 is as high as a place like that can get. The Little Chef is located on the corner of Winchester Blvd and Williams, in West San Jose. A little White and red painted 1970's Taco Bell, with cartoony happy little chef on the sign. Ok Why did it get a 2 exactly? Well like so many other places they have combo meals at a deccent price, BUT unlike more popular local places like Mr. Chau's, Little chef counts the Rice or Chow mein as one of your items. So if you get the 2 item combo youre really only paying for rice or chowmein and 1 entree, not 2 entree's. Little chef does also offer for 2.95 (at least right now) a 6 piece deep fried prawns on the side. Not bad seeing how much others charge. In a pinch though the service is good the food fresh(most times) and it will tide you over until you can afford real chinese takeout. - Unsubscribed , posted 01/26/06 |
