Greetings to the Family of Fire! We are just a few weeks away from Fires Rising 2006! This year, the Gathering will be significantly different, as we further distill our magick and our music, and dive ever deeper into the mysteries of Alchemy. Instead of affinity groups or playshops, there will be a whole group process happening throughout each day to align and inspire us in our preparations for ever more powerful work and play at night. * Arcanum Alchemia - when outer, inner, and hidden secrets of Alchemy will be revealed, including ideas for how they can be applied to specific workings each night. * Inspire-Rings - a time for small groups to conspire; plotting and planning creative offerings they can "Bring On" around the fire, in alignment with the themes inherent in the 7 stage alchemical process. * Transmutation: Allies and Alloys - featuring experiments with various kinds of practical alchemy; creating and transforming clay into art, paper into trees, and the mundane into the magickal. * The Practice: - the method and mystery for all rhythmatists and melody makers who wish to play within the Alchemical Fire Circle. ___________________________ We place our heart-songs and offerings upon the sacred pyre, reaching in and digging deep, for what we sow is what we reap, so breathe it out and breathe it in, and Bring It On... ...at Fires Rising, Four Quarters Farm, June 1-4, 2006!
