At the edge of Venice, just in from and bordering the Marina Peninsula are a series of canals with little bridges. Park on one of the main streets and take a walk on the narrow sidewalks lining the canals. It is a different world. Peaceful and beautiful. It is also duck heaven. Bikes are not allowed on the paths, so don?t bother bringing one along. - * M - ish * , posted 09/10/04 |
