nice book
I bought the Mastro's books after seeing their interviews on the conscious media network. I set up the basic prosperity altar a few days ago. So far no miracles, haha. But they are enjoyable books and a good introduction to vastu, the vedas, mantras, and yantras for me. - Unsubscribed , posted 11/05/06

The information goes way beyond the basics of Vastu Shasta (which is highly interesting) and speaks in soul language to the deepest parts of us. Learn more about yantras, mantras, sacred geometry, sound healing, altars and the vedas, while reading the most delightful stories!

Excerpt From Book:

Gratitude is the Essence of Successful Living

A monk was on a pilgrimage and, as night fell, he came upon a village where he begged for lodging. Although it was quite cold outside the villagers refused him shelter, so he took refuge under a cherry tree in the fields. He was very cold and could not sleep. After a while in that cold spring night, the monk noticed fully opened cherry blossoms overhead, laughing into the misty moonlight. Overcome with their beauty, he became grateful to the villagers for refusing him shelter.

At that moment he became fully enlightened.

Life is immense, and each moment comes bearing a thousand and one gifts. The instant that we accept - with gratitude - all that life brings, we become wealthy. When our hearts are full of gratitude, we perceive the abundance that greets us at every turn. We begin to understand that even when a door appears closed, it may actually be the opening to an even greater blessing to come.

When you complete balancing your environment according to the principles of Vastu, we advise you to take the time to reflect on the meaning of gratitude in your life. So often, like the monk in the story above, you can lose sight of the bigger picture before you grow in awareness. The ability to feel gratitude in your present circumstances, however meager they may initially appear, is the fertile ground from which positive change springs. The shift toward the abundance and prosperity that you desire cannot occur within an ungrateful heart. Be positive, be patient, above all be grateful, and allow your future to unfold with ease.

"Remember that your perception of the world is a reflection of your state of consciousness. You are not separate from it, and there is not an objective world out there. Every moment, your consciousness creates the world you inhabit." -- Eckhart Tolle - Daiva , posted 01/25/06
