Love it...
For the longest time I used eudora and then went over to Thunderbird. I'm glad I made the change. Prior to that I've used, pegasus, the old netscape email client (before aol bought them)... Probably a lot more email clients that escape at the moment as well. Anyway, glad I made the change to thunderbird as I mentioned. I was equally glad to find the little program that lets you backup your thunderbird profiles, as well as Firefix profiles (I found it on the mozilla site as I recall). - Josh , posted 07/04/05

Thunderbird is under rated.
I agree with an earlier review that the spam detection isn't perfect, but that's alright because you have to "teach it" to recognize spam. Its a matter of refinement.

But more to the point is that it works flawlessly. Its quick and has a small memory footprint. I can not tell you how fond I am of the RSS Feed option - its beautiful. The only thing that limits it is the fact that you can't check Hotmail - but, in all fairness, that is Microsoft's decision. Besides, why would you use Hotmail now that gmail exists. - Jack , posted 06/09/05

Good!
I like Thunderbird, except sometimes it does not understand what is spam and what is not. - Unsubscribed , posted 02/14/05

Firefox and Thunderbird
Thunderbird is an excellent add on to Mozilla - better than microsoft outlook and Express.
