Chill out, make out, or meditate ? Trace Element?s mulit-faceted electronica album is an outstanding companion to any such soul-expanding activity. It?s also a great listen independent of the extracurriculars, thanks largely to a canon of inspired, meticulously-programmed beats and excellent taste in sound choice and arrangement. Catchy shuffle grooves, throbbing trance vibes, and ethereal ambient sections combine to create excellent atmosphere in Human. With a painters eye and an engineer?s touch, Trace Element m- a.k.a producer/composer Henry Hsiao ? has come up with a hybrid that?s truly worth hearing.
