Okay what's worse than a medicore film about a war between Vampires and Werewolves? The sequel! Honestly I don't even know where to begin in describing how pathetic this film was. Even a Kate Beninsale love scene was barely enough to keep me from falling asleep. The plot (if you can call it that) was so indecipherable that it doesn't even bear explaining. Something about an ancient vampire looking to free his entombed brother werewolf and needing a key from Selene to do this. Yes it sounds like bad video game for the PS One! But by far the most insulting part of this feature is the casting of Derek Jacobi, one of our finest actors, in the role of a blubbering idiot vampire, THE vampire that spawned all these other goth club rejects you see in both films.
