Do you have an old Verizon phone?
Do you have a Verizon phone? Mine died several weeks ago and i am getting desperate for one. At the store the cost a fortune to replace. If you have an old one... would you be willing to lend it to me for 5 months- until i can get an upgrade? Thank you, Sara - Sara , posted 01/25/06

Good but...
I have been happy with Verizon for the most part. They have a good support program and are constantly updating their phones. The phones they update, however, are not the best looking or most cutting edge. I went into a Verizon store the other day and they only had one phone with built in Bluetooth. They sell an adaptor, but it's clunky and kind of defeats the purpose, if you ask me.
I find that if you keep updating the network (by hitting *228) on a regular basis, the amount of staticky calls goes down.
I've been with them since 2001. - Adam , posted 04/22/05

Verizon service OK
Verizon has excellent coverage - I rarely get dropped or missed calls at all.

On the downside, they've disabled the bluetooth data service on all of their phones. So while the phones do bluetooth, you can't use them to send data at all.

I've got a low-minute plan and don't use SMS much (I tend to just send emails from the phone instead), so I'm not sure what Verizon is like in that regard. - Noah , posted 04/11/05
