Definitely a well kept secret. I go to Vidal Sassoon's Academy in Santa Monica. (321 Santa Monica Blvd. 310-255-0011). Walkins are accepted, but I always call. They usually get me in the same day. Cuts are $20 or $10 if you're a student. They do a fantastic job! I've been going there for over a year. Each cut has been amazing. Downside - plan to be there 3 hours or more for a truly wild and creative cut. They are students after all (usually experienced, licensed stylists there to become Vidal Sassoon accredited).
