The Sunrise Celebration - A Play set in 2010 - The Foreseeable Future
If you don't know now you know -
aspects.no-ip.org/sunrise/m...ps_web.ram That's the link to the first half of video footage of The Foreseeable
Future, a conscious fractal, educational, musical play from Dave Global's website. The link for the whol list of video
footage that he has of the fest (and there's loads) is here -
aspects.no-ip.org/sunrise/contents2.htm message to all the wonderful people involved in Paradox's wonderful play 'The Foreseeable Future'. First I would like to say that you can hear The Matrix, a poem by Paradox on my THC MySpace page here www.myspace.com/thcsociety (yes, I am aware of Rupert Murdoch, yes I disapprove of his methods and yes, if I find a fluffier networking tool I'll use it, but not if it's less effective.) I would also like to say well done to Paradox for having the vision and determination to write and direct the play, well done to all the actors and performers who had to adlib and improvise their way to success, and well done to anybody else involved in the organised confusion - the finished product was a fully conscious, organically growing, work of art. For me, the Sir Duke renditions at the end of each performance were highlights of a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good festival.
And because quite a few of the people involved in the play seemed unaware, because I do not want the uninformed to think that either me or Paradox are nicking each other's ideas (it's more a combination of the universal thought theory and artists collaborating) and because Bards have to tell the untold stories I have lifted a tale from the Captain's Blog on my "proper website" www.belowthebelt.bravehost.com
The Origin of The Foreseeable Future
As well as supporting Sparxillva at the Synergy Project in the Peace NotWar room on February 3rd KP also performed shamanic poetry and conscious Hip-Hop in the Tribal Voices room. He introduced The Forseeable Future, a collection of poets and musicians using tribal methods to make future sounds! Including A Vortex - singer, poet and Mama Gaia Missionary!
Adam Vortex wowed the crowd with a beautiful rendition of his ode to Mother Earth, "The Rhythm of Mama Gaia." Also featuring Xav on the violin, they left the stage to rapturious applause.
Parvati shared inspirational poetry inbetween improvised flute renditions. She mesmerised The Tribal Voices stage with her down to earth spiritual poetry which people relate to on a down-to-earth level despite philosophical subjects.
Jimajama performed his "Ester May" poem to the sound of a rare KP beatbox. Mike aka Cerrdor sang his song about love (it's not a love song apparently) which also got a great reception.
KP was also doing his usual impromptu self deprecating comedy, shamanic poetry, and the odd verse about love.
The Foreseeable Future is bright, but it's not orange. It's green, acoustic and boombastic!
Now that's sorted I humbly request that y'all check out my website's below, and don't forget to check The Matrix by Paradox www.myspace.com/thcsociety , seriously mind-expanding information downloads in one easy to listen to poem. Safe and sound.
Love, gratitude and appreciation
Your Bard and Shield Knight, Kev the Poet
