After Flickr became kind of the de facto standard for sharing pictures on the web, there were many who thought video was next. It took a while, but guess what, you were right. Vimeo could be best described as Flickr for video, although I have the feeling Flickr could get into video too. However, what makes Flickr great is the same thing that makes Vimeo shine: social interaction. Sure, there are other sites like Vimeo, Youtube.com is one of them, but I think Vimeo is better in usability and features. - core , posted 03/14/06 |
