Or is 1982 ? The last time we saw "technical difficulties" was during our favorite episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man....In 2005, looks like the "PLEASE STAND BY" signal is coming back ten-fold. What I'm talking about is trying to register a damn Virgin Mobile PAY AS YOU GO PHONE. Looks like Richard Branson has a nice and pretty marketing package to take care of the Virgin Mobile money machine during his kiteboarding sessions while the rest of us are toiling at minimum-wage, non-unionized mcJobs. That said, it would be nice if this damn PAY AS YOU GO service website worked as it is supposed to rather than trapping consumers into providing their credit cards or making that pay phone call. Some technology this is. 24 hours after purchase and I still cant activate it (the 1-800 number used for activation in the promotional materials just hangs up during registration.) Thanks Sir Richard! I'm trying to review the actual phone for Nokia but getting through your activation scheme is difficult. Can you help?
