Very good expliciting of many ambiant thoughts
Recommended to me by a lucid dreamer. All those ideas or insights that most of us already had once in our lifetime are remarkably well presented throughout a very original narrative concept. The vectorized effect on footage makes it even more surrealistic and the added animations help getting to the point.
It all the more nice since it's the kind of movie you can show to your grandmother or your children and that can trigger very interesting and lively discussions.
May you all have a lucid dream :-) - soyouth , posted 10/10/06

Best Movie!
Waking Life is the *BEST* artistic expression of Spiritual truths, that appeals to the intellectual, logical and artistic mind. Lots of information! Watch many times for best absorption. It sure WOKE ME UP! - Sabryna Star , posted 10/10/06

More to think about
There are so many thoughts and ideas I've come into interaction with as a student and an artist. It's true I often think of great insights, just to find them shortly thereafter already published by someone else. It's almost as if I learn in advance of studying..... - Manic Esoteric , posted 10/10/06

You need weed for this one...
trust me, it will keep your brain from hurting. This is a great thinking film. It requires alot of concentration, and has great animation. The theroys expressed are pretty much on par with what people I like are thinking. Its like being in a coffee house, and listening in on other people's conversations. (but not like a starbucks, like a beehive!) The main kid, is the young kid from Dazed and Confused, ("gosh, I hate that jerk!") and it also has a few others from that cast.

A great rent.
