Maynard G. Krebbs, played by the late Bob Denver hated showers, work and girls. He only loved playing the bongos during all his waking hours and when someone asked about the dirt on his chin, it wasn't a beard, it was, "like, a beard!" Gilligan, we liked despite being the unwitting villian on Gilligan's Island, much like Dr. Smith on Lost in Space.
