digital camera review
After hours and unbelievable hours of reasearch, (online, going to store to look, back online, going to store to...)
I have come to conclude the camera for me is the casio exilim pro ex p700(7mp). It was close with the canon A95 (5mp) with the swivel lcd, but not enough to win. Go to this site and these are the cameras that all came in as considerations. www.dpreview.com/reviews/c...e_post.asp
As far as digital vs regular film, for travel, I would use digital. Get a few memory cards, take as many pics as you want, go through them each day at the end of the day and toss those you dont want. when the card is full, pop in another. My sis came back from a 10 day trip to mexico with over a thousand pics. Try that with film camera. (she never had to change her memory stick either. But she had a 3mp camera set at the lowest setting.) Her camera was the casio exilim ex z30. Not a good camera for close ups or low light/night shots. But it is a good handy one to have if your not going for the quaility of pic and just want the cool memory. Pics come out good, just not great.
Also, buy online, even with overnight delivery, it's still way cheaper then buying at a store. Make sure you check the reviews of the stores though. some online places jack you up like an abandoned car in the ghetto. - (-) (-) , posted 03/10/05
