The content of this website is about peace, folks - why all these angry comments about the design? DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW THAT NOT ALL OF US HAVE THE CASH TO HIRE A SLICK WEB DESIGNER??? Isn't now a time in human history when any and all promotions for peace are necessary and welcomed - regardless of what they look like? C'mon - enough sour comments about the colors, etc. The site is clearly promoting PEACE and that makes it a good website. 'nuff said! A+ for promoting peace (aka content) As for the design - The contrast between the black background and the bright colors is a little tough on the eyes but the site is functional and not terribly difficult to navigate. So-so - ** Suggestion: make the stars much, much smaller. Does its my-little-rainbow-pony color scheme offer viewers an opportunity to take pot shots (heh) at the designers? The sheer design of that site makes me want to nuke baby whales and do other mean things to the planet just to get even for the unpleasant feeling I got from the home page. Bloody Hell !! Go back to your Fucking tree house you fucking patchouli smelling, sandal wearing, no bathing hippies. You can't design a site to save your lives. A) You can't fucking read it with all the shit you have going on. There is too much distraction. The colors are not good for reading. You can't make out some of the letters or words because of the clash of colors. Just because there are a bazillion colors out there doesn't mean you have to use every single one. Please let the professionals design web sites and you guys just design your tied-dye T-shirts. You guys might be trying to do some kind of hippy goodness here, but honestly your going about it in the wrong way. [Note: that I saw this site at 6am and I can be terribly snarky when dealing with something I don't like that early in the morning. In retrospect t I should have kept my opinion to myself, because, though I found the site unpleasant on the eyes, I do not have anything against the basic sentiments.] Any website that constantly uses "R" for "are"; "4" for "for"; "2" for "to" and "too"; and "B" for "be" without the slightest bit of irony is going to irk me. Add to that the poor design, jumbled organization of the portal page, terrible use of color, and all the random .gif animations and I am revolted.
