Long Lasting, Lightweight, Full Coverage Foundation
I'm an AVON Independent Sales Representative, so nowadays I pretty much use nothing but AVON products. Every time I try something that's likely to wear off after dancing for a while, I "test" it by wearing it to dance class. Yesterday I wore this foundation for the first time, and I was very impressed. It's in AVON's mark. line of products. It's a stick, but it's a very soft stick. In fact, I had to put it on with my foundation brush because it went on with an almost mousse-like texture. It went on surprisingly light for a cream-to-powder foundation, but it still provided full coverage. I was going to a hafla that evening and knew I wouldn't have time to put on my makeup between class and the hafla, so I put it on before class. It was an hour-long class with lots of movement that got me very sweaty, but it stayed on through class and on through the hafla that evening. It didn't even come off when I wiped at the sweat on my face with my hand. It didn't smear, didn't collect in the creases, or anything. It survived the test very well. My only complaint--for $7 a stick, it's kind of a short stick. It would fit in a purse very well, but I don't know how long I'll have before I'll have to buy more. Maybe it just seems like a small about, though, because I'm used to creams being in a compact, and they look like there's more there. At any rate, I highly recommend it for dancers who are looking for a foundation that will go from office to gig very well or just for small venues period. - Diana , posted 11/13/05
