I thought this movie kind of sucked. I'm all about these types of movies, but was disappointed with this one. The best part of the whole movie was the bouncing sheep film at the beginning - Unsubscribed , posted 10/24/05 |

I have a unique take -there is a very important message to this film. Too many young people and Bohemian types no longer believe in having children and starting families because they feel- often justifiably- that having families traps one in a stultifying and sterile suburban environment and cuts them off from a stimulating and rewarding creative life. To be a creative individual in the spirit-dead suburbs is a challenge. But a challenge to embraced, unless we want dipshit Bible-bashing Bush-lickers to breed thinking people off of the map. I see the Incredibles as a story of exceptional people not succumbing to their soul-destroying surroundings and showing there is another way. Bohemians, Leftists, Artists and other individualists used to believe in family- what happened to this generation? Some of the most prominent non-comformists today were tutored and nutured by their parents. The message of the Incredibles is that too often the limitations on off-beat families are self-imposed. "Breeder" is a badge of honor, not a mark of shame. And oh yeah- this is a hilarious and action-packed wonder for children of all ages as well as a tremendous tutorial for self-motivated children. Strongly modeled after the MArvel comic the Fantastic Four, the sheer manic inventiveness of this film will blow you away. And the moral of the story needs to be shouted from every rooftop- Rise about the herd and never be ashamed for being an individual. - Unsubscribed , posted 07/16/05 |

This movie had enough excitement and innuendo for adults, but enough innocence for kids. Its got great comedic value for all ages, and the action will keep anybody gripped to their seat. Bravo again Pixar. - Porter , posted 06/16/05 |

This dvd is worth it alone for the help in adjusting your television set to view the movie to it's fullest, but also contains great extras, commentary, and information on how the movie was made. It's also a great film, which all ages can enjoy! - Jenni , posted 06/16/05 |

It does have some adult context enough to keep us interested. Also cool enough for kids. Almost like two different movies in one. - mabra , posted 04/27/05 |

I thought this movie was really violent and way over the top for kids. They like it because it looks neat but its an adult movie. - Unsubscribed , posted 04/02/05 |

More adult than their previous offerings, with great production design and clever nods to 60's futurism and James Bond movies. - Victor , posted 01/17/05 |

Didn't try to hold a cartoon to too high of a standard, but it did not dissappoint. Plenty of action, funny lines and a story line to follow. - P-Air , posted 01/09/05 |
