I'm Kellie, songsress, novelist, horseback riding instructor, seamtress, make-up artist and accessorie queen and wanna-be bellydancer. I identify myself as a psychobilly punk with rockabilly leanings. I've lived in oregon all my life and the Salem area for all my adult, on my ownish life. I used to bellydance in high school with a hippie friend but when I moved away I lost touch with my shimmy and shaking roots. It wasn't until a trip to India that I realized I still had it in me. In Andhra Pradesh I met a group of tribal woman who, when told by one of the Doctors I was traveling with that I danced taught me some of their dances. It renewed my passion until I decided to take my first formal classes in December of 2008
