I am forty-three. I am the mother of two grown? children, Erryn and Alicia. I am also a new grandmother. Alicia just had a baby girl on April 1st, Sophia Jane. I'm a high school English teacher and will begin my graduate work in Lit. in the Fall of 2005. I love all kinds of music (including laughter) and I am paradoxically both pragmatic and very spiritual. I am not Wiccan, but I do honor the energy that animates the universe. I love nature and people (in that order). I cannot abide apathy in any form. I'm very political and lean far to the left. I live on the north coast of California; one of the most naturally beautiful places I've ever seen. Giant Sequoias to the east and the breathtaking Pacific coastline to the west. Basically, a nature lover's wet dream. So, no surprise I'm very pro-environment. Which means I hate the rolling disregard for human and biosphere survival known as SUV's and BIG TRUCKS. Time to market vehicles that run on clean, renewable energy sources such as solar or biodiesel, hmm? P.S. I am only interested in friendship.
