about me
Lately I've been all into yoga--it's really taught me a lot about myself and my body. I love my life, enjoy the simple (like drinking a nice cup of english tea in the morning) and not so simple experiences (like emotions, growth, love) in life...I have many interests, I love being in school and continually learning about how adults learn and are resistant to change, yet so resiliant to life's challenges, I have traveled to Asia, Africa, Europe and all around the US...I like to connect with people who are open, interesting, and kind. But wait....I love to throw down and play games online, in person, cards, video games...most games especially ones that I win at, love to sing (though I can't really carry a tune), dance, and take naps on the weekends. And I really really love to watch TV and eat a nice meal that I cooked...minus the TV trays.
Here's a story about one of my tattoo's. It's a bumble bee sitting on a flower from the book, Ferdinand the Bull, which was one of my favorite books growing up. I love this story because it's about a bull who looks all big and brutish and everyone thinks he should go and fight with the Matador...but Ferdinand doesn't have time for this, he just really loves to sit under the cork tree and sniff flowers...he gets stung by the bee and acts crazy so they take him to fight in the stadium against the Matador...and Ferdinand, with all those people watching, sits down and smells the air because of all the beautiful flowers the women are wearing...he doesn't fight and goes back home where he is content to sit and sniff the flowers under his cork tree. To enjoy who you are and what gives your spirit pleasure is one of my life lessons.
